Destiny
Part 1
Sam was daydreaming as his physics professor droned on tediously. As he lifted his head , pretending to pay attention, he looked around the brightly lit classroom. He wished Mr Dening would just drop dead, he could not stand him, even if he was renoundly known in the school for looking like a hybrid cross of Jesus and Gandalf.
A few drawn out seconds later Mr Dening hunched over and started coughing, this cough did not sound healthy. It was a coming right from his chest, filling the room with slight giggles or wary looks towards him. His bearded face was quickly turning pink, with each second it got a darker and darker shade until it went from bright red to deep purple. The students of the room were getting up out their chairs and slowly running to him now. However, before anybody could reach him he was on the floor with his mouth open, not moving.
"IS HE DEAD?" Shouted one of the flock of students crowding around 'Mr. D', as some people called him.
"Somebody go get a teacher, quick!" Another proclaimed. While all this was unravveling Sam sat on his chair staring ahead of him, not beleiving what had just happened.
"Was that me?" He thought to himself, "It can't of been me, I only jokingly thought about it in my head..." His head was spinning with thoughts, making him rather dizzy.
Two students ran out the now chaotic room to find the nearest teacher and get help. Still thinking about why this happened Sam tried to block the thought out of his mind, it is NOT possible for that to happen, it was pure coincidence, surely?
Almost immediately the two students who left the room came back with a science teacher, it was Mrs White.
"Everybody get away from him and sit back down!" Everybody did as was bid, you didn't want to get on the bad side of Mrs White, especially when she was dealing with the current situation. She checked him and quickly pulled out her outdated phone, calling for an ambulance.
Later that night Sam layed in bed thinking again about the days unexpected events... He knew he would not be able to sleep with these morbid, confusing thoughts. So he put his mind to other, less brain taunting subjects and quietly fell into a deep slumber. It wasn't until what Sam presumed to be around 3 to 4am that he was awakened by a shadowed figure with a hood and a dark cloak draping over his shoulders and back, the hood concealing the strangers face. Sam jolted up suddenly, was this a nightmare... No, this was too real, he could feel the sweat on his hands and forehead. It wasn't every night you got awoken by a dark hooded figure standing over your bed. The hood was jet black with golden patterns outlining its hem.
"Hello Sam..." The mysterious man said, he sounded old, his voice soft, frail and croaky with a slight tone of authority.
"Who are you? How do you know my name? and what the hell are you doing in my house watching me sleep?" Spurted Sam.
