What if minecraft could benefit your life, now and in the future? It can. And I'm not talking about building random structures and stuff. That does give you the value of creativity, but that's not what I mean. I'm talking about the people you meet and play with.

How is this possible? It is in many ways. Everyone you meet on a minecraft server will fall into three different categories: The Trolls, the Friends, and the People Everyone Hates. So how do these benefit your life?
trolls.
These people, whether their griefing, pranking, or doing the many other troll things they do, they will benefit you in one way: being prepared. It may sound ridiculous, but think about it. If you're prepared for a grief, a raid, or a prank, it probably wont happen as often. And when it does, it wont be successful. Being prepared for everything is obviously a skill you need for your whole life, and it can be found on minecraft. Crazy, right?
friends.
This one's probably much more obvious. Friends, on minecraft or in real life, do anything from fool around to just help you get through a day. You enjoy ones company and it makes you feel great. One thing that not everyone takes in account, and what relates to minecraft, is it can reduce a shyness level. In real life, you may be shy, for many reasons. A very large reason is being judged, and when you realize that, since a minecraft friend doesn't see you or know you in any way, you wont be judged. It may boost your outgoingness, and you'll probably think less about being judged and more about being liked.
the hated.
The People Everyone Hates, or the Hated, you can see anywhere. You probably know many of them in your everyday life and on your minecraft server. So how do these people benefit your life? Simple. They make you ready for the real world, where you'll see these people day after day, and you'll have to deal with them.It sounds awful, but it's true. If you get used to it now, and even standing up to them now, you'll have no trouble facing them when you get a job, in retirement, and even before death.

It's crazy to think about that minecraft servers benefit your life, but they do. This also applies for pretty much everything on the internet that requires chatting. So next time your parent(s) are telling you to get off, show them this blog.
