So, I've been running a server for a bit, and this topic has come up between me and my players.
Which one is better???
So, I've taken the liberty of listing what I think is good and bad about each!!
(THIS IS PURELY OPINION, PLEASE NOTE!!)
Singleplayer
PROS:
♦ You're by yourself!
♦ No annoying griefers to break your stuff
♦ If you want creative, then you get creative! No asking for OP!
♦ No one's going to restrict you (Moderator: HEY U! U CANT BULD HEER!)
CONS:
♦ There's that sense of loneliness ;-;
♦ No one's really there for you, you're on your own
♦ No plugins (Don't get me wrong, some plugins I'm glad aren't there)
♦ Once you've become powerful, there's nothing much to do.
Multiplayer:
PROS:
♦ You've got plugins!
♦ You've got friends with you! Not so alone anymore!
♦ You've got people to help you out! (I.E Helpful moderators!)
♦ If you're having a horrid day, there's always that one person online who will help you through that! (I.E someone made fun of you for dressing all black)
CONS:
♦ Vigilantic staff (That one moderator that spawns in diamond armor)
♦ Some plugins are annoying as hell. (Everytime you died you get banned for 30 minutes)
♦ ALL THE TROLLS! (Griefers, people asking for staff, stupid people)
♦ That one person who tries too hard to be the best.
So, for me personally, I completely love both ;D. I mean, it's always great to hand out with other people on other servers from time to time, but it's also awesome to finish that cool hotel that you've been building alone! But, yanno what, it all comes down to personal preference. Being a server owner, I do love playing multiplayer more. Once you have that chance to host something that people legitimately enjoy, it gets pretty damn fun, and people always remind you how awesome you are for it!
