Hello and today i am discussing a common problem. And to start it off i will give a example.
Title of post: I make great avatars fast!
So you go into it and its a brand new topic!
So you are the first to request and you spend about 10-30 mins making it.
Well after about 2 hours you become inpatient and he never replied. It says hes online.....
You personal message him no response......
Days to weeks later you are probably REALLY ANGRY so you personal message him in ALL CAPS.
This of course does nothing so what is this blog about its about false claims on the forums.
Ever since i joined PMC i have loved it no problems at all in my mind. But its not the websites fault you did not get your reply,Avatar,Skin,Banner, or recognition but you just have to know that whoever posted that topic is in fact like you a human. This means that they have a life away from the keyboard and things big and small pop up all the time making it hard to get to the computer and spend any time making your request. So show some tolerance and be patient!
Now for the side of the Skinner,Graphics Editor, or whoever posted the topic they may of had a event happen in they're life that stoped them from getting to the computer for example they're grandpa dies suddenly and they leave town to visit they're grandma. This sort of thing is what causes PMC projects or idea's to become incomplete and be forgotten. So in the mind of the person that posted the topic they think "The user will understand". But sadly most of the time they do not.
So if you post a topic and say the request is to hard or takes to long for you to make it just say. "Sorry that is just to hard". Or you could say "Sorry I just do not have time for that". then they may understand. But not saying anything is not and I mean NOT reasonable or polite its rather rude in fact.
So now if this has been done to you you think. "Well what now?" Well first things first if you think it was intentional for them to do this to you then i would call it a trap not a topic. What if you think the blog is stolen or corrupted maybe hacked, rude, racist, politically incorrect, etc report or flag tell someone like a moderator admin. Do not keep it to yourself!
Back to the idea of traps if you think they are doing just to troll you do not post! Its so simple to avoid being trolled just think of the cause behind why they would do something so hard for random people. Therefore if you think its a troll its most likely a troll. Now you are probably thinking. "Is there a good way to avoid traps?" Well yes look at the users other posts has he/she trolled other people if yes steer clear of them and they're posts.
Well as you can see I have rambled on about many different topics but i feel this is needed knowledge for using the forums. Thank you for your time and reading this post because it took me about two hours to type the entire thing. If you liked this blog and think I should go deeper into this topic leave a diamond, Favorite this post and subscribe.
Thank you for reading- Gamma
