At the beginning of class, the bell rang and everyone settled comfortably in their seats. Our homeroom teacher was talking to our math teacher, and so the class went rowdy. Notes were thrown across the room, shouts to friends echoed off the walls, and me and my friend grinned at each other, I gasped in a deep breath and started singing, "Give me a second, I, I need to get my story straight." My friend followed with a rather loud, "My friends are in the bathroom getting higher than the empire state!" Then my teacher spun around on her heels and shouted, "Who's using drugs in the bathroom?!" And the class broke out in laughter.There was a metal bar leaning across an unused desk, and my friend Brandon pointed his finger over the bar at a girl innocently sitting at her desk, "My lover she's a waiting for me, just across the bar!", then my friend Zach slid on his neon green 'swag glasses' and quickly dashes over to the chair next to the girl's and smirks. Brandon followed with "My seat's been taken by some sunglasses asking bout a scar and....." just then my friend that started this whole thing goes ,"I know I gave it to you months ago. I know you're trying to forget!" She dashes over to the water fountain and takes a long drink before finishing, "But between the drinks and subtle things, I'm trying hard to take it back!"
A few minutes later filled with dramatic, horrible, hilarious singing and dancing, we had the whole glass going in singing, " na na na na na na na just carry me home tonight, carry me home tonight! na na na na." The teacher finally gets ahold of herself laughing, puts on the strictest face she can manage, and yells at us to stop.
She sighs then mumbles something about letting us get away with this, but then she said loudly, "But only this once!"
And my friends walked in from the bathroom singing "Somebody That I Used To Know."
