For the last several days, weeks and even months, I have worked on a pretty big project:
I made personal skins for 14 Minecraft-players that are part of the medieval Nordic Minecraft-village by the name of Wintershelm!
I didno t make all of those entirely from scratch, but rather took different parts of several skins, if they would be fitting. Sometimes I just edited an already existing skin or applied parts from the old skin of the player to the new skin upon their request. All users that I used parts from will be credited in the description.
In this time I submitted nearly nothing to PMC because I had to focus on this. Now, the wait is over...
I proudly present you the fruit of my labor: My Skins for Wintershelm!
The basic idea of the skins was to create unique and individual skins after the playerso wishes. I also wanted them to go with the Nordic and medieval theme of the city, so tried to add some warm furs and so on. Also, there is one skin-rule in Wintershelm: They all need to have a beard!
The Former Mayor of Wintershelm. The power over law and justice lay in his hands.
This was the first of all the skin that I made. Actually I just edited his old skin that had been made for him previously, added shading and changed some details.
The Master of Coin. You need money? This man can help you out. But be careful, debt is a trap that wono t be easy to escape from.
Like many others of the following skins, I didno t make this skin entirely from scratch, but reused parts from his old skin. The head is an edited version of halucids o Dwarven Skin of Notcho .
The Peasant. Even though ito s bitterly cold in the north, he prefers to cultivate his fields bare-footed. This skin was also based on the old skin of the player. The hat has been taken from a o Huckleberry Finno skin that I cannot find on PMC anymore, apparently it has been deleted. If you are or know the creator of it, please contact me via PM.
The City-Merchant. Pelts, precious Wintershelmian wood-parquet and jewels from the cities mines o here you can have them all, for a decent price.
The vest has been inspired by RipClaws o RPG Merchanto skin. I really like this beard-design, as you can see I tried a lot of different ones out. Every beard is unique!
The Alchemist and Potion-Brewer. He has the power to heal all of your wounds with his potions. But also, he could make you die a slow and painful death, so be aware!
The Book-Binder. Day and night he works with the greatest treasures of knowledge o the power of words is an unpredictable power! His hands are spilled with blue ink from copying the old and ancient masterpieces.
The Engineer. There is nothing he cano t fix.
I made this skin based on his own personal skin. The body has only been re-shaded; the head is all-new.
The Master-Architect. Planning huge structures and fierce city-walls, the work of an architect never ends.
The head of this skin has been adapted from his old skin.
The Forest-Strider. He knows nature like his trousers pocket. Wolves are his companions and the woods are his home.
I used his old head in this new skin.
The Beast. An angry hippopotamus is not what you would like to have as an enemy, believe me. Yes I am aware that he doesno t have a beard. Thato s because heo s a hippo. Simple as that.
The body is actually taken from halucids Hulk skin, I only recolored it and changed the pants!
The Ape-Man. This monkey has mutated into an intelligent species with white fur that gives him perfect camouflage in the snow.
The skin has been inspired by Studnickyo s monkey skin. The body is mostly based on his and thus looks very similar.
The Voyager of the North-Seas. His ship is his house and he only feels right sailing the cold ocean of the North, traveling into his next adventure.
Once again this skin is based on the old version that he made for himself.
The Huntsman. His game are mostly deer and stags, but as you can see from his coat, he is not afraid of more dangerous prey.
The wolf-fur has been taken from ToeKutter's Winter Traveler and was only slightly edited.
The General. His commands must be obeyed without hesitation. With his strong arm he smashes the enemies heads into puree.
The leather-tunic under all the armor had been taken from DancingWalrus' Stormcloak Soldier. You almost can't see it anymore, but whatever. I did use it and so he deserves the credit. He would have deserved it even if I hadn't used his skin, because his skins are simply amazing.
That's it... Hope you liked it! If so, feel free to spent your precious little diamonds or even give your loving hearts to me! And if you want to see more awesome stuff, subscribe, you won't regret it!
Thank you! :)

Included a render of Wintershelm at the end of the blog. It was the background of my first wallpaper, but that didn't work out well. Enjoy!
