There were two friends, one named Skylar and the other named Taylor. Taylor was older than Skylar by a month. One day, the two decided to go to the nearby forest behind their houses. Most people called it Mystery Forest because no-one goes into the forest.
"Come on Tay-Tay!" Skylar called out to her friend who was laggind behind her.
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Taylor giggled. The two entered the forest and Skylar was getting further into the forest. Taylor caught glimpses of Skylar's dress but after a few minutes, fog started to gather on the gound.
"Skylar?" Taylor yelled out, "Come on Skylar! Come out! It's getting cold and dark!" Taylor's voice went strained. There was no reply and the sun hit the tree line.
"Skylar!?" Taylor went into action. She went through the brush and shrubs, getting cuts and scrapes. She kept yelling out Skylar's name. Suddenly, a scream reached Taylor's ears. It was Skylar's.
"SKYLAR!" Taylor screamed in fear and ran to where the scream rung out and echoed, leaving its permant essence in the trees and soil underneath their feet. Taylor ran and ran until her legs couldn't take her any farther. She stop to rest. The fog thickened. Taylor squinted just to see but could only see a few feet infront of her. A black figure then emerged from the fog.
"Sk-Skylar? Is that you?" Taylor cocked her head. The figure threw something at Taylor. Skylar's dead body laided at Taylor's feet. She screamed and tried to run but the figure stood infront of Taylor, putting its big hands on the side on Taylor's head, and twisted.
CRACK!
Taylor fell ontop of Skylar's body, her eyes wide, cloudy and glassy. The figure chuckled low and evil.
"Goodbye Skylar and Taylor..." the firgure spoke and laughed walking away back into the fog. The next morning, a search party of the two families were put together to find Skylar and Taylor. They found their bodies and everyone bursted into tears. A funeral was held for the both of them at the same time. Everyone paid their respects and then, a familiar voice boomed two senteces...
"Goodbye Skylar and Taylor. Who should be next?" The same figure from the forest grinned and left without another word, back to the forest to stake out his next prey...
