I have a mac and really want to know how to mod because i don't know how. So if you could pleaze tell me EXACTLY what to do. if you have to download something pleaze send me the link via PM.

download mcp (minecraft coder pack) google search it, then put in the jars folder ur bin and recources folder
(make sure ur minecraft.jar has modloader in it)go back to main folder and run decompile. wait and then go to the following link on how to make the code.link = www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1161758-modloader125-modding-tutorials-by-darkthynder-and-makerz739-dawn/

code is in mcp/src/minecraft/net/minecraft/src
