I had been looking at photos of nether portals decorated like swords and thought it would be fun to make one inspired by my fantasy world (maybe a blog about that someday), Astoria. The sword belongs to my main character, Fi.
The sword is surrounded by a crown bearing the twelve colors of the twelve clans of Astoria. (The lighting isn't very good in the photos xP)

I built this in my creative world, so I can just fly in. I don't really go to the nether anyways, but I wanted to build it. xD
You could use the structure blocks to save it and use it in another worlds
The other builds looks great too, keep your work up
What are structure blocks and how do you save them and use them in other worlds?
It's some sort of op block like the command block, but for saving and loading buildings
You can save the building and then .nbt copy the file to a second world
