iv'e worked on a new moon. i finnaly did it! and you don't have to change Texture!!!Requirements:A pixel editor (I use pixie)Minecraft.jarWinrar (or another Archiver)(This tutorial is for windows only)
1. click on the windows icon on the bottom left of your screen2. then type in: %appdata%3. click the folder roaming4. then go into the .minecraft folder5. then go into the bin folder6. open the minecraft.jar file with winrar (or another archiver)7. go into the map terrain8. in there should be 2 files: moon.png and sun.png9. drag the moon.png you made (with the pixel editor, you make it like you want your moon to look like, then save it and call it moon.png)10. drag your own moon.png into the terrain folder and click ok.your moon should look different now!
enjoy your changed moon, it works for the sun too, but then your edited file needs to be called sun.png
