Personally like many people i preferred Alpha and early beta Minecraft with out the faffing around of Food,Enchanting,The End and growing stuff for alchemy.

To the point. The devs probably still have the code from Alpha MC so I think they could use it to create nostalgia mode,When you spawn a world just how you choose Creative and Hardcore you get nostalgia were to worlds spawn as they were in Alpha and it reverts it back to the Alpha texture pack (And takes out the food meter,The End etc)

I am sorry if i have great worded this blog but i hope you understand what i am trying to get at

i actually thought of an idea. since jeb said 1.6 will have a new launcher, they should add a feature where you can create jars and chose whats in them, eg. say you preffered when zombies dropped feathers but still want the wither, you can set that, and you can chose world gen, mob drops, mob spawning, items, blocks, block textures, ect.
