Chapter 4
He peeked into the door...a torch was burning, and a corridor led down to a opening...
The ocelot creeped in slowly and cautiously. After he got to the opening, he sniffed and found strange smells. One of a mob, and one of the tall creature that could build. There were lots of weird stuff inside, and he was aware of movement inside a doorway. Suddenly, the door burst open and a fury grey creature came trampling out towards him. The ocelot meowed and started running back the way he came. He went outside and ran as far away as he could. Once he was sure the wolf had gone, he started creeping back again, because of curiosity. After a while, he heard footsteps, and the creature that could build came along carrying a good smelling object. Even though it smelled good, he back away, slowly, and then ran when the human started running towards him. After a while, he saw that the human was left behind, and something made the ocelot go back to the human. The human seemed happy, and opened his hands and gave him the good smelling thing. He gobbled it in 5 seconds and stared at the human. The human gave him 1 more, and then the ocelot realized that the human was being very nice, and he was so tired from running away from the animal that killed his friends.
He followed the human back, into the hole and into the house. The wolf sat there, but didn't move. He just raised one paw to the human, and stared at the ocelot. The ocelot stayed back as close to the human as possible, and the human led him into the door.
"So...hello...you look like a cat" He continued. "My name is Steve, and i think i will name you...how about shadow???"
The ocelot didn't know why, but he loved that name, and from then on, everything changed.
