Chapter 2

When Jacob came home, he put's his bag near the doorway and sit's on the couch, with the T.V remote. Ashley come's downstairs with a full load of laundry in a white basket, with oval holes. "Are you day dreaming." His mother ask's puzzled. "Yeah." he replied, softly. "What are you day dreaming about?" Ashley asked. "Anything really.." Jacob said. He smiled then looked at the T.V.
Alex came running down the stair's like a rocket on full speed. His face has some left over crumbs,
and a bit of chocolate. "Hey Jacob, bet you didn't have cookies!" Alex bragged, with his left-over food sticking on his tongue. "Nah, i had something way better" Jacob replied, then he looked forward with his eyes wide open. "Oh no, what lie can i come up with?" Jacob thought. "I would like to hear it! Tell me! Tell me!" Alex said. "Ugh.. Well, first off.. I played.. Umm.. soccer with my friends then, i ate a chocolate blazed donuts, then drank water, then walked home, yeah, that's it" Jacob suspiciously said. "Ok.." Alex said. "Whew, at least he isn't THAT smart." His dad, Erik, came home from work. "I'm home!" Erik said in a deep voice. The door shut. "Hey honey. Hi kids!"
Erik said while walking into the living room. "What's up, Jacob?" Erik asked patiently. "Well, can you keep this a secret, dad?" Jacob asked. "Sure!" Erik agreed. "Ok, I have a girlfriend. Her name is Tricia.. I'm really shy about this tho." Jacob stared at dad, with a little spark in his eye. "Ah, young love. My favorite. Choosing who to get, yes and no's, so much mysteries."

June, the last day of school.
Jacob got his bag. He went up the wooden stair's to his brother's room. Alex was playing with his firetruck set. "Hey bud, want me to take you to school today?" Alex asked, while smiling. "Sure!" Alex said. Alex got ready in a snap. Faster then you would say "Night on a bus" 5 times fast. So, they both got to the school. "There's your classroom, right at the front. The one that say's Kind-" Jacob was interrupted. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's go already!" Alex ran to the classroom. It was empty, except for the teacher. Jacob knocked, and the door opened slowly. "Hello!" Jacob said. "Hi" responded the teacher. "This is my little brother Alex, i came so he can get to see the classroom, is that okay? Oh, by the way he is coming here next year." Jacob said, his hand was on Alex's back. "Sure. I don't mind." She responded. The classroom had 3 large, gray tables with tiny chairs, around a foot, just enough to fit under the table. Above were bat's with 9 fact's in them, 3 for each side.The inside was the type, and the outside is what the info is. The hanger's was right when they entered, on the left side. Then right across from the last hanger was the carpet. It was big! Above the carpet was the teacher's desk. "Big classroom.." "Ok, were gonna go. Bye, thanks for having us!"
On the walk to his house, to drop off Alex, he ran into the bully of the school, and his gang of friends. "Hey, chump. Did you come here with your little friend to back you up? Scared? Well, too bad. BE scared." Joe, the bully said. Jacob tried to say something, but then, Joe punched Jacob right in the face, 3 times. Tricia was on the other street watching the whole thing, hiding in the bushes. "Agh, my nose is bleeding! Help!" Joe picked him up, then dropped him. "That will teach you to get out of my way....
