In the dark of night, a chill in the air, I stood, staring at the creeper. he just stared right back not moving, waiting for me to make the first move. I could not retreat, behind me there was nothing but a long drop and a sudden stop. The ravine had caught me off guard and now, I am trapped between a creeper and a ravine with no armor or sword for protection. What should i do? Should i call out for help? no that would attract more enemies. Should I try and fight the beast? That could only end badly for me. Without weapons i am a goner. All i wanted was some flowers to dye my new carpet. I new i shouldn't have braved the chilly night air for some flowers. So here i am, about to die, be forgotten, left to rot away until my bones turn to dust. The creeper will surely win if i can't think of something. There is no wheres for me to go, no one to help. i looked into the ravine contemplating whether or not i could take the fall or make the jump across. What's that at the bottom? Water! I'm saved! I look back at the creeper and he starts inching forwards, I must jump. i ready myself for the long fall. As the creeper gets closer I can hear his fuse burning, he will surely explode any second. It's now or never. I jump. Soaring through the air towards the water below, falling gracefully like a feather. The ground is coming to quickly, i won't make it to the water! I hit the waters edge with a sickening thud. my arms and legs are broken, i can feel it. Ribs have broken, blood oozes out of everywhere making a puddle beneath me. I am dying. i look to my left, then to my right. Cave spiders. They are ascending upon me to claim my broken body as their meal. I stare up to where i jumped from and see the creeper looking down on me, mocking me. I feel the spiders have reached my body. I close my eyes and await the bite that will send me to the grave. This ravine is my final resting place, no headstone to mark my grave, no family to mourn me, just the spiders who are slowly devouring my flesh. I can feel the agonizing pain of every bite. I just want it to be over, to be freed of this mortal cocoon. I looked up at the creeper, he slowly turned away, knowing I was defeated, and walked away. I looked down at my chest just as a Cave spider leaped onto it. He paused and looked at me as if waiting for permission to end my life. All i did was nod my head back and he went in for the killing blow. The feeling of his razor sharp teeth digging into my neck was agonizingly painful but the pain subsided soon after. Blood draining, life fading, and all because of a stupid decision to go on a quest for flowers in the dead of night. Cold, i felt very cold. Dying, i lay dying on the rock. Regretting, regretting ever coming out here. And Hating, hating that creeper and his foul and cruel ways. Fading, i'm slowly fading away. Darkness, darkness is setting in. Death.
