Whelp, someone kindly messaged me, and told me I should make a nice blog on here for all my arting and drawdering (xD) That I do. Most of it, isn't about minecraft though...! I make skins, thats pretty much it for that xD. But my arts primarily fantasy, sci-fi, and all cool jazz, and most of the time, dragons! This is also my first time on this website, and working with a blog posting system like this, so I'm bound to make a LOT of stupid mistakes! So bear with me please!

If any of you are interested, you can view my full gallery and everything over at deviantart at...

So, without a farthur ado, here we go!

Lemme know what you think, if you'd like to see random sketches I sometimes do, and maybe some requests, if I'm in need of ideas!

Did you teach yourself to draw, or did you use some kind of tutorial? I have no idea how I'm suppose to learn how to draw... ;n;

Well, reading tutorials and learning from them is sort of teaching yourself, isn't it? But yeah, I've been doodling, practicing, failing, learning from mistakes, and reading tutorials for around 4 years, there are no "wonder tutorials" out there that would teach you everything you need to know to draw/paint something, but tutorials are excellent ways to learn new things to apply to your drawings. So I'd say I taught myself mostly, and just recently started taking drawing classes, yet I've never taken a coloring/painting lesson in my life! xD

Learning to draw can be a long process, but if you're dedicated and practice often, then you'll be sure to improve. Classes are also very helpful, an expert can really open your eyes to all the possibilites and strategies you can go about. If you even need anymore elaboration, I'll be happy to help you out as much as I can ^^

Thanks. I've only recently started taking drawing seriously about three monthes ago, and the only real thing I've learned from anything is that drawing is lines, shapes, and all that, you don't just draw it. At least, that's what I know. For all I know, you just draw the outline and fill it with pretty colors. I guess I might be asking you things later or sooner.

Drawing is indeed lines and shapes, but its what the line tells or doesn't tell what counts. As long as you practice, and always experiment, you'll uncover new information! Also never be afraid to check out tutorials for help, and also be sure to references at lot when learning. References are a major help, and experimenting with different ways of drawing, and different techniques can only help you in getting better :3

xD Thanks fine, ask away whenever you feel like it

Do you draw your dragons based from a book? because I have a dragon drawing book that has dragons that look really similar to these.

Not exactly, however I do own one book for drawing dragons, so it could have influenced me a little, but I usually just doodle around, and make my own style.

I'm curious though, whats the book?

It's called like How to Draw Dragons and other Mythical Creatures, I think it's sort of orange'ish in color, it has a dragon on the cover with a woman with a spear riding it.

Ahh, thats what I thought, thats the same book I've got. I've got to say, Neondragon is a very good and influential artist. It does have tons of good information and ideas to work off of! And I most certainly am inspired by the dragons she makes ^^
