This guide will show you how to install and use Optifine the easy way

1. Go to http://optifine.net/downloads and download the latest version

2. Once you hit Download go through Ad-Fly and hit Skip Ad after 5 seconds in the upper right corner

3. Once you are at a page with a lot of ads don't worry that's supposed to be there the click something that would look like this in the center of those adds Download OptiFine_1.7.5_HD_U_A6.jar

4. Save it in to a desired folder

5. Once the download is complete right click on the .jar version of OF and hit Rename don't change the name but instead of .jar make it .zip

6. Go to this page [url=www.(Ad link removed)/mcpatcher-hd-fix/]www.(Ad link removed)/mcpatcher-hd-fix/[/url] scroll down and find Download MCPatcher Download for Minecraft 1.7.5

7. Follow the steps to download it and save it to your desktop

8. Open it and make sure you're closed out of Minecraft

9. In MCPatcher make sure the game version is 1.7.5


10. But 1.7.5 Will still work on every server

11. In MCPatcher hit the + button

12. Select the file you put the Optifine into

13. Double click on the Optifine hit Ok then Ok again

14. When you see the mod at the home page with a check next to it then you've done this right

15. Hit Patch once its done close out of it

16. Open Minecraft and hit Edit Profile, then in use version select release 1.7.5-MCPatcher

17. Then hit Save Profile

18. And then Play

1. Use Ctrl to zoom in

2. It makes custom texture packs likes Stimpys night skies look great

3. On Optifine.net you can donate $10 and get a cape which you can customize yourself and do it again

4. Optifine boosts your overall FPS and performance

5. Make sure Fog is Off

6. Fog Start 0.2

7. Chunk Loading Default

8. Clouds Off

9. In Quality Everything turned to off

10. Smooth FPS on

There is another alternative and faster way to install it.

1. Download it the same way as above

2. Make sure it is a .jar file

3. Double-Click it and follow the instructions to install

4. Onvce completed open Minecraft

5. Hit Edit Profile

6. Select the Optifine version it just installed

7. Then your done enjoy :)
