FREERUNNER'S MOD

Hi guys! Osc here from TheObsidianFiles, and today i'm bringing you a mod reveiw. Now, because my laptop only had 4GB of RAM, recording with fraps drops my FPS to around 10. This is REALLY hard to watch. So instead of doing a video spotlight, im going to do these text reviews until I get my new laptop in a few weeks.

So, the freerunner's mod basically adds some pretty sweet parkour in to the game. You can climb up walls for 3 blocks, and jump into haystacks assassin's creed style. But anyway, on with the review!

These are the things you can do in this mod.

1-Climb up walls for three blocks.

2-There are craftable ledges which you can grab on to, and I thought it was pretty beast how you could shuffle across them skyward sword style.

3-You can roll by holding RCTRL key when hitting the ground, and that drops fall damage quite significantly.

4-You can craft haybales which Super-nerf fall damage when you fall into them.

5-There are wooden beams which can be crafted, but dont really do much, other than the fact that you can shuffle along them.

I think there are a few other things, but they aren't really worth mentioning.

OVERALL

I'm scoring this mod 7/10.

Mainly because of the fact that there are no animations for the parkour, so you just look like your climbing a ladder when you go in 3rd person :/
