Hey guys Diamonddozen here! Today's blog is about one of the most popular events in Minecraft. It's level of popularness is almost higher than Spleefing. That's right Parkour! Let's begin.
What is Parkour...
Parkour is the art of moving from block to block in a cool fashion. Did you know that Parkour is actually a real life event?

Parkour literally means free running. It is generally practised by the army.
How Does Parkour Work in Minecraft...
Nowadays there are many different parkour maps. It's easy to find one. You just jump from block to block until you reach the end. Simple as that.
Why is Parkour so Popular...
I don't really know, to be honest. I guess it's just a matter of showing who is better with movement and depth perception. Just like how Spleef is popular. It's a matter of showing how quick you are with a shovel. Parkour can test your mind as well as your reaction. If I were a Phys. Ed. teacher I would definitely make Parkour part of my curriculum. I am so sorry to the people who's fist language isn't English. I like to use big words. Anyways, that is why Parkour is so popular. The biggest reason is, because it allows you to show who is better with mind, body, spirit, and emotions.

Parkour is the art of movement to get as fast and as efficient as possible from a point A to a point B.
The army is practising not this style, their more doing stuff like cross-country running, only the spec ops are practising parkour and ways to pass obstacles.
