Chapter 1
Troy looked up at the ceiling, he could not fall into his nightly slumber, something bothered him. Was this his life? A crummy teenager's life, no love, just idiotic friends? He was pretty sure that was true, nothing could change that... nothing. He wondered for a bit longer, before falling asleep in his comfy bed. His room was dark, excluding the moon light peering in through the silk curtains. Shelves were topped up with books, books that would help forge his dreams. He had a wooden desk, which housed a desktop computer, a laptop, his cellphone and his homework exercise books. His room was fairly large, but he didn't know what much else he needed at this point.
Sky woke up, her brother pounding on the door. She hated this daily annoyance, why could she not get herself up? Why does her brother do it for her? She got out of bed, grumpy, then got dressed into her uniform. Max was still pounding on the door, yet he stopped when he heard a, 'I'M UP ALREADY". Sky heaved a sigh of relief, when she heard her brother's feet run down the stairs. Her room was about the same as our first character, excluding the desktop which was replaced with a diary and spare exercise book. Sky opened her bedroom door and rushed downstairs, heading towards the kitchen for breakfast.
Assuring himself that his helmet was on securely, Troy took off to school on his bike, like every other day this year. He didn't use to have to go to school on a bike, he was dropped off by his mother, but since he was a high school now he had to bike or walk. After 10 minutes, the boy arrived at school, heading towards the bike racks. He locked up his bike and headed towards his homeroom. He didn't hate school, but he sure as heck didn't like it there.
