Several people have asked me about variations to the penguin skin I posted earlier in the week (the skin was a huge success - thank you everyone). I've posted an image of what the two variations look like here. I didn't post the variation skins because it would feel like spamming a skin design.

The first variation is the penguin carrying a baby chick on its feet. This is a behavior exhibited by real penguins. Because of the need for pixels to make a face, the chick turned out quite large. I don't think it looks too recognizable - but I'll let you be the judge. http://i.imgur.com/bJ1kb.png

The second variation is the penguin carrying an egg between its feet (another actual behavior). Several problems arose with this variation. It was hard to come up with a reasonable egg shape. It was also not possible to give the egg a realistic color - it would blend in with the body of the penguin itself. I made it light blue just because I liked the way it looks. Lastly, due to the symmetry of the leg skin template, the shading looks weird. Shadows show up on both sides of the egg. http://i.imgur.com/lDMhV.png
