1 year. It's been one year since I've posted something on this site.
This post has been a long time coming, and it will be (hopefully) very explanitory.
Buzz Lightyear - my latest skin - wasn't even made for Planetminecraft. It was an older skin I had made, that was but more space in a "Skins"-folder. Why? Why didn't I just make a new skin to post? Well, it wasn't fun. At the same time as I was making my latest skins, I had started on textures for texture packs. I felt as the pixel art that went in to making a skin, did not match texture-making. Making skins takes different pallets, and different styles... not to mention the lower resolution. I started out with 32x32 pixel art tiles, and felt right at home. Making skins did not feel like making good pixel art. But this just explains the lack of skins from me... what about the 11 month hiatus? Making textures was fun, but as time went by, I realized how many times I had restarted on texture packs. Although I had gotten way better at pixel art, I was not making progress in my texture packs...
...fast forward 1 year:
What am I doing now? The same old... except; I don't restart texture packs. Currently I am working on a somewhat cartoony, and another medieval texture pack. But that's not all: I have been making lot's of "normal" pixel art - Sprites, tilesets, and such. Me and a friend have been working on an RPG game, where I make tiles.
Conclusion: I haven't changed alot... I have gotten worse at skins, but way better at pixel art in general. So what can anyone expect of me on Planetminecraft? Well, I'm thinking of starting an art-blog for my sprites and such. Also I will hopefully be posting some texture packs in the near future.
