Hey, I am having a hard time on my CraftBukkit server, it will not reach farther out for connection. the port is 25565. Ip is 72.201.253.106, Local is 192.168.1.147, but when i put 72.201.253.106 in server properties. it says Perhaps a server is running on that ip or something like that. I am on a Mac OSX computer and i hope to get some help so i can have far connection to my friends for my server and possibly add it to Planet Minecraft. Pleas post comments of ways to fix my problem

You can also buy a server for a pay evry month. At creeper host.net or Provion Host.com spelled it wrong srry look in goolge

You can Provion host is awesome I mess with my friends on it to do alot more if you bye the grass plan like i have goto my servers.

i do that many times, i dont know why its not work, its connection or somthing. i have PortForward IP on it, it works Local but not different homes.

The same thing has happened to me several times before. It thinks there is already a server running, and it can't run another one. Restart your computer, that should fix it
