Here I will tell you guys how to use and install plugins for your servers and mods for your games.
I will start off with a few popular ones like Too many Items and essentials but comment if you want me to do a different one! remember to comment mods or plugins you want help with!!
This is probably the most popular mod ever what it does is add every item onto the side of your screen and all you have to do is click it and you will get the item for free.
Installation
Go to the start menu and search up %appdata% then click enter. Next open up the .minecraft folder there will be a lot of files ignore them all except the one named "bin" open up bin and there will be a jar file called minecraft right click on that and then click open with WinRar archiver . after you open it find a file called META-INF meta-inf is and mod shield delete Meta-inf and then click here (<- Ad link removed) to install too many items for 1.4.7.

Essentials
this is probably used on every minecraft server because it adds so many commands and is very helpful.
Some commands are:
/help(opens help menu)
/killall(kills all mobs in world)
/thor(shoots thunder were you are looking)
many many more just do /help to see them all!
Installation
Make sure that your server is not running! go into the file you are running your server from and open up the "plugins" folder then drag and drop the essentials.jar file into it thats it your done! install essentials.jar here
Tim the Enchanter
This is a cool plugin that lets you enchant anything with any enchantment! you could enchant a stick with knockback or a helmet with smite!
Some commands are:
/enchant
/enchant natural (sets the enchantment to the highest natural level)

PermissionsEX
This plugin adds permissions into the game it also adds titles like [Owner] this plugins has so much to offer so I probably won't get through it all! install it here
commands:
/pex groups (shows all of the groups)
/pex user group set (adds a player to certain group)
/pex group add (adds a certain command to the group)
/pex user add (gives a certain command to the player)
/pex group create (creates a group with that as its name)
/pex group set rank (sets the groups rank this really isnt important unless you have auto-rank)
/pex group prefix (the prefix is what the title will be so basicly what it will say infront of your name like [Owner]
World Edit
This plugin is for lazy builders like me say you want to build this huge platform but you don't want to spend hours doing it well these are the commands!(i am only going to cover the basic commands)
//help (shows all the commands there are about 100)
//wand (gives you a wand that you can use to build things faster)
//replace (make sure that you select the corners with your wand first!) install it here
//fill
//sphere
Disguise Craft
This is a really cool plugin what it dose is it lets you become s certain mob or player it's really fun for trolling players on your server ;)
perms:
disguisecraft.seer (lets you see through peoples disguises)
commands:
/dis (mob type or player)
/undis
