I've tried to post my skins in other sites and forums, howerver, they never get popular. People just don't like them.
And I know why: Planet Minecraft has created its own skin style, where shaded skins are the best we can get. The thing is... the average minecraft player does not find it pleasing to the eye. They look at it and only see a bunch of random pixels, trying to vaguely represent something. While we all know that those skins take hours, maybe days to make, it has become obvious why people dont like them. In this community, this type of "art" is considered pretty awesome, if we want to appeal to the common minecraft player, we must sort of go back to the basics. Why do you think that most of the skins posted by new users are those weird teenage boys? They are simple. We have two choices: 1. Surrender to the basic skins 2. Spread our knowledge
