♣Step 1: Be Original♥
Don't steal some other guy's idea and make it your own with tiny tweaks. For example, if a part said "The youtuber walked into the deep abyss" don't copy that with "The dinosaur walked into the deep abyss" unless the rest of the story is different. This is also against PMC rules.
∈Step 2: Go in-depth∋
If you want that level up, you have to work for it. Instead of just "there was a dragon at the end of the hall" you can put "There was a large, black dragon at the end of the diamond-studded iron hall". Expand on what you want to say. Be specific! However, doing a Jerry Spinelli and adding two-word sentences here and there can also be a good move.
⊗Step 3: A Good Thumbnail⊕
You should have a nice thumbnail for your story. One of those can get you a few more points. I suggest this for starters. Just choose a picture, add a posted skin, and slap it on PMC!
