PVP is Overrated

So, lately I've been looking for a nice survival server. Somewhere I can build and not be constantly interrupted by idiots our other people. But every time I look on the server list it's full of "PvP" servers and I find this quite annoying. And even when I do manage to find a server that is nice enough, everyone on there wants to murder me ruthlessly.

Minecraft isn't all about PvP and apparently a lot of people seem to not understand that. I feel as though most people play now to fight, and I really don't understand it. How is seeing someone flash red when you click them entertaining?

Point is, I want to encourage you guys to build! :D

Have fun with what Minecraft was originally intended to simulate.

I know what you mean. What's worse is that my friend (rball99) keeps dragging me to PvP servers. I would rather build and let my creativity out then kill people just to steal their hard-earned items, only to get myself griefed & killed in a total act of revenge in the end.

And yes, I do suck at PvP if anybody that's reading this is wondering.

I find those try-hard PvPers annoying too. Sadly one of my closest friends is one of them.

The thing is, if pvp is on then its automatically all about stealing, killing and making a hidden base. Im working on a server that will be non pvp and will allow players to make cities, towns connect them and live the game by trading and buying properties, gaining popularity, making friends and building! and not getting greifed because every block that is placed is protected by the one who placed it

My server isn't like the others. Just smooth survival. sVanilla.

Sometimes we do have PvP, but it's organized and not just, "Oh look! I see a noob. DEATH!".
It's actully like, "Hey, want to duel?", "Sure.".

I tell you, the only reason PvP servers are alive are from children donating five-hundred dollars for godmode or stuff.

I like PvP, but only in PvP servers. But I like other things of course. Also the reason people like PvP is because when they kill someone in it, they feel awesome/confident. But the fact is they killed you because others came at you before him/her... So, yeah it's pretty complicated why people like it.

i agree fully as im sick of pvp every single server is pvp/raid and i cant find a good server with just normal survival that has a good nice community and btw stickdude123 i can already tell your brainless and just go pvping all the time. Pvp is no longer fun either because of the amount of people using clients and the amount of rage to go with it msg me if you find a server and if you want we could team also nice post
