I have Idea and that is a Range Golem that have a same like Wither but different it shoot Arrows with this you can add another defence from the mobs and can help defend the Villagers or also know as Testificate, if can you can just upgrade the Iron Golem with Emeralds block to turn in a Range Golem.
but I recommend using the Iron type, it have a Rare item like the Redstone is and it also prevent from over using the the golem and it like tier 2 Golem but it have the same health as the Snow man but tougher.

I have thought of this when I spawn a Wither it was devastating fight but I thought what if there a golem like the wither it will shoot at the mobs, that's why I want this to be added on Minecraft, even I'm not a Modder I'm still Looking for a mod like this, but the problem is I can't spawn this on a server, so that's is my Reason why this should added.
