And so on..."
Personally, I hate these things, and they're called "Applications". Our fourm today has been spammed with these annoying forum posts on applying for a server, or becoming a builder. What ticks me off the most is that most of these guys actually get accepted to become a mod/admin. Earning, not applying, is my way of thinking. I might promote a few people that play first day, and I see their maturity, so I go ahead and promote them. Not because of an application.
Next. Youtube recruitments. If you really need a friend, play on a server and get to know people better, and eventually you'll find a partner that's funny, cool, attached, and is a skilled player. Instead of going to PMC of Minecraft Forum and asking people to "apply" for a Youtube channel, they should find their own dedicated channel. As for myself, I have IRL friends that play with me on my channel, same grade, and I know them very well to start it.
Applications are just overall annoying, and you're going to fill them out when you're in High School, if you're already not, all the dang time, so why have to go around PMC and enter your personal info, and why you like this or that. And the last thing is Skype. Soon, you'll sign up for enough things on PMC that your Skype will literally have BARELY any people you know in real life. My Skype contacts contain only 3 people from other states or countries, because they know me very well.
