So, I’ve deleted my secret message box, since most of the messages it’s been getting as of late are rude and hateful. (See this wall post, and also, this has been happening to a lot of people.)

Anyways, I figured I’d react to some messages now that I’ve deleted it it, so I asked you guys to send stuff to the box before I delete it so I’d have more to react to than just the three messages I would’ve had otherwise. So, here we go. (I’m going from oldest to newest, by the way.)

Alright, I’ve saved the best for last, even though it was actually supposed to be one of the first message I react to. I just felt that this would be a good way to close this out. And, for the record, I’ve learned from my friends that the person who sent all those messages about having a crush on me wasn’t joking. (Me bringing that up will make sense in a second.)

Dear Egghead,

Firstly, to all those reading, yes, that’s their pseudonym at the end of the message and in the beginning of this “letter.” Secondly, this really made me happy. If you’re reading this, I want you to know that you actually did make a difference during my rather sad morning today. After I made that wall post, I found myself reading your other messages to me to cheer myself up. It’s honestly heartwarming to know that there’s some girl out there who likes me. At my school, a lot of my friends always joke (in a playful manner) that I could get a girlfriend if I looked better, mainly referring to my hair, which is always kinda messy when I go to school, since I don’t do anything with it when I get ready. Plus, I’ve kinda accepted the fact that no girl at my school would ever date me, since they all seem to prefer tall, strong, athletic guys who play football at recess every day, as opposed to a guy like me who’s tall with noodle arms and who spends his weekends in an air conditioned studio writing on his laptop. So, finding out someone liked me really surprised me, but I’ve gotten used to it, and now I wanna know more. I hope that one day, we’ll be able to talk directly to each other, and that one day, when you have the courage, you’ll finally tell me who you are so we can figure things out.
