Realistic Medieval Farm Tutorial
Hey guys, this is my tutorial on making realistic Medieval farms.
This tutorial was made using the Conquest texturepack.
Step One:
Layout your farmland, this can be done using any type of block. Just remember to not over do it as you'll have to destroy these layout blocks afterwards.
Tip: Size matters. Don't make the divided fields too big or too small.
Step Two:
Go along the now placed layout blocks, and replace them with long lines of roughly made bushes.
Tip: Placing the bushes with the contours of the terrain makes it look realistic.
Step Three:
Detail the bushes, this is how I do it.
Step Four:
Layout and add your crops and infertile used land.
Tip: Wheat crops usually take up the whole field. Well potato and carrot crops are grown in lines, as seen above.
Step Five:
Add detail to the roads and infertile land.
Step Six:
Add trees around and along the bushes of the crops.
Done!
That's it! Follow these steps and your farms will look detailed, well thought out, and very realistic.
