At first my main reasons for joining PM was to grow my channel. I believed this site was the best possible way to grow my channel as it had my potential target audience all located in one place, but however I realised soon later this was more of a community rather than just a 'pontetial audience' for me. I ended up wanting to join the community rather spam the forums with posts that are irrelevant but will allow my channel to be seen by others.

Youtube is one of the hardest things to actually 'blow' on. By blow I mean your channel just instantly gets a ton of subscribers and views. I have figured it out after countless spamming that I gotta concentrate on the content I am releasing. What good is a ton of subscribers if they don't enjoy watching your content? Which is why I went back to step 1 and just been recording content that I believe will attract new viewers instead of 'forcing' people to watch it. I rather have 10 views that have come by themselves than 100 views that have come from me asking them.

Why I started Youtube? NOT FOR THE MONEY as I'm not making any money from it, but more for the feeling I get when someone tells me they enjoy my content. Ofcourse money will be good! Who doesnt like money?! But I wanting money so bad would end up ruining my channel. I want to make content that I enjoy and majority of my viewers enjoy. Also release new content that could gain new viewers. I don't want to focus on recording one game as I want my channel to revovle all games!

Thank you for reading! This is just me being honest!

Thanks for the comment, I wanted to start streaming but I wanted to build some 'fame' (recognition) on youtube to get atleast some viewers. I know there is a ton of youtubers, I see a youtube as a way for others to view my videos as a gallery of some sort. Yeah, i want to upload video for a niche target audience, which is why i started playing some hearthstone!

I personally beieve that if all you want from YouTube is the satisfaction of people liking your content, you may want to try something different. This is my personal belief, but YouTube already has thousands of Minecraft channels and you most likely won't be recognized. I am starting to make skins. You could try skins, mods, blogs, or projects it all depends. I just think then its easier to be recognized for your work. But of course, if you love recording videos than do that! Don't do something you don't like. I once was thinking of making mods, but I really didn't enjoy going through pages of code so I decided to go onto skinning. I really kind of suck at the moment, but I am improving. Hopefully in a year i'll be good enough to call myself a "good skinner". I would like a link to your channel though, i'll be more than happy to give you feedback :D
