Have you ever thought of an amazing minecraft idea? Maybe you thought of a server, or a cool minigame, or maybe a cool creation. Well that's what happened to me. My friend and I thought of a very cool minigame for our server. Now most of the time, you will need redstone. I'll separate the types of redstone builds for you guys: Easy, Took a lot of work, and Can't figure it out. I personally have built things in all three categories, whether it is a trap, or a huge timer. And a lot of times, I get stuck in the "I can't figure it out" category. Even searching on google doesn't help. And that's not the only reason why I get soooooo mad at redstone. Not only is it complicated, but it shows how hard and difficult it can be right when you're around the corner to completing your goal! It makes me soooooo mad! And redstone is not only the problem. With the new 1.8 update coming soon, even more commands will be added! And we are still learning what all of these current commands even mean! It makes me so mad when I think of a solution to one problem, and then another five-hundred pop out of nowhere. And then when you come up with a solution that fixes the other problems, even more come out! And so you're either forced to search FOREVER online, or you just quit. And which do you think is easier to do? And then, if you do decide to search online, the internet decides to troll you and makes you think you found the answer! But in reality, it's just a scam. I had a flair of hope when I saw this command on minecraft.gamepedia.com, but when I tried out the command, it didn't work. Nothing that I tried worked. And it is also very annoying especially if you have a deadline for the project. Thanks a lot Minecraft! You really are helpful right now. I just want to scream my lungs out and pull all of my hair out. But I won't, because that would be weird... Anyway, you have trouble with your command/redstone contraption, and right before the deadline hits, you realize the answer and rush to finish, but you can't since you don't have enough time. That's what minecraft does to you. It tricks and trolls and laughs at your failure. And you know what minecraft commands remind me of, MATH! I mean, don't get me wrong. I love math, but to a certain extent. This is like those signs and symbols on your calculator that you will never know what they mean.
I think people would agree that if you type /help, not only should commands pop up, but how, when, and where they should be used should pop up. And not just some small little hint like "Use on players", no! We need more than just that. And the same should go for redstone. If you don't know how to use a block, you should be able to type in "/piston help" and it will give you a whole paragraph on how to use it. If you creators know how to create custom commands, custom blocks, and even know how to create minecraft, you certainly could give us minecrafters a little help by typing a few words. I mean come on! Are you too lazy to type a few sentences, codes, and update the game?! If you are, give me a call! I'll type it in for you. I am even fine with typing this! Wow... that was serious.
