Biome Description
This biome would consist of huge towering redwood trees and large fir trees, also there would be a 50% change of the biome only spawning redwood trees. These trees would be very big just as they are in real life. Jungle trees have a maximum growth height of 32 blocks. These redwood and fur trees would have a maximum growth height of 56-60 blocks high. The green grass and leaves of the biome would be similar to that of the jungle, this would mean that it would be very nice and pleasing to look at and not be an eye sore. The redwood and fir trees would have their own logs, leaves and saplings. Also they would have their own specific coloured planks. The redwood trees logs would be pinkish red and the planks would be redish brown. The fir tree logs would be yellowish brown and the planks would be a deep olive colour. Also this biome could generate with normal forest like terrain or with big rolling hills. Also there would be ferns and grasses growing on the ground.
Biome specific mob
This biome would also have its own specific mob, the rabbit. The rabbits would come in multiple colours from white, black, brown and even grey. Rabbits could possibly, again possibly, have their own rabbit holes. These rabbit holes could consist of a small network of 1x1 tunnel(s) with a couple holes leading to the surface. These rabbit holes would be naturally generated by the game in the redwood biomes. Rabbits would appear outside of the rabbit holes or could be found also by digging the holes up. Rabbits would only recognize naturally generated rabbit holes as a place they can go. A player could not dig a small tunnel system and have the rabbit recognize it as a rabbit hole. My only concern with rabbit holes would be that they would generate to be too large or that rabbits may not be able to go to and fro from them.
You would be able to breed rabbits using carrots. But unlike other mobs there would be a chance that more then one baby rabbit would spawn, there would be a small chance that up to three baby rabbits would spawn. This is also in real life, where rabbits can have hundreds of babies.
If you kill a rabbit they would drop twice as much xp as a bat does. Their item drops would be fur and rabbit meat. Raw rabbit meat would provide 1 food point and 1.2 saturation points. Cooked rabbit meat would provide 3 1/2 food points and 8.8 saturation points. The purpose of fur would be to craft books just as leather is, and potentially used to craft fur hats, boots, pants, and chest pieces for snow biomes in the future.
You would also have the ability of picking rabbits up by right clicking on one of them. The rabbit would then appear on your head and you would be free to walk around. Right click again and the rabbit gets off of your head. Or right click on a rabbit and you carry it by the ears, right click again and you set it back down.
Overview
Just imagine walking into a lush green forest with massive towering redwood and fir trees above you and cute fluffy rabbits hopping around you. This would be an ideal building space. Great to look at, awe inspiring, a great place for collecting a lot of wood, or for starting a rabbit farm for a very efficient way to get a lot of meat. I think that a lot of people would enjoy this new vast landscape, and I hope that people will be able to. :)
Thank you for your time.
