Removed Herobrine?

Guys if you hadn't noticed there are LOTS of updates that say 'Removed Herobrine'. What's up with that? If you don't know what I'm talking about go to the Minecraft site and start by going to update 1.3.2 and then keep clicking 'Older' and look at the bottom of the updates. It's kinda creepy isn't it? Don't go on the Minecraft Launcher and look for 'Removed Herobrine'. I don't think you'll see it. Which is weird even furthermore.

It's a joke they made. They have a lot of jokes like the jeb_ on sheep and Dinnerbone and Grimm Just this is in the updates. he never "really" existed. He actually was a default skin a long time ago without the blue in his eyes so they called him Herobrine (I still don't know why that name). But all "Jokes" aside. he never really existed in Minecraft as a mob until Minecraft mods came out. Now he can be seen only in herobrine mods.

I know Herobrine doesn't exist but that kinda weird how Notch (or some other person) put Removed Herobrine over and over again.

It's a joke. They think it's funny to remove Herobrine almost every update.
