Please note that this is an early concept and it might get confusing.

A new Minecraft dimension, what could it look like?

Minecraft has a lot of randomness in it, and so far it has worked really well. With every update a question comes to mind: Will Mojang consider implementing a new dimension? Before we jump into the concept, we need to understand what makes a dimension happen in the first place.

Minecraft has 3 dimensions as of now (Overworld, Nether and The End) and each of these has a unique aspect and theme to it. Overworld is a normal world filled with life and nature, with a mix of sinister parts hidden in it. Nether is an underground dimension that lies under our world, and it's theme is exact opposite of the overworld. It's sinister, scary, red, deadly, hot, and everything that a living being would be scared of. The End is an alien world filled with magical plants and mobs with crazy abilities. The end is mostly known for it's game changing aspects.

So we have 3 dimensions that are completely distinct from each other, so what would make the 4th so unique?
A mix of all 3? Maybe. Don't forget that the randomness is a huge aspect of Minecraft, and with that said, would it be a good idea to make the 4th dimension completely random? I think this can be a good idea so hear me out.

4th dimension will not have a theme, specific features or defining elements and creatures. So without that how would a dimension be recognized you may ask, and the answer is easy - It wouldn't. This dimension is made completely unique and fully random. By random, I don't just mean the shape of mountains and caves, I mean literally everything. Therefore, every player would have a different experience.

So how would this exactly look like?
You would spawn in a dimension similar to sky dimension, Once you load the world, you will see grass, trees and skies, pretty standard, right? Now this is where is gets crazy. All elements in the world can be of any color. For example, you spawn with the grass having 16,000,000 different colors to generate in. Same for trees and skies, but each separate. So, when you would enter this dimension, one of possible scenarios would be that the grass is blue, leaves are purple and sky is orange, but the texture remains, just the color is random. Style of world generation would be random too, therefore, infinite possibilities. Like I said, terrain is not the only thing, mobs and items are affected too. Mobs can be a different combination of models and shapes, with a custom tint to a base color. Dungeons would be completely random too, as well as items. Item names would consist of 100 different words which would be randomly connected together to create a name. Only one of these dimensions can be created per world.

So this is my initial idea, a completely random world. Let me know your thoughts as I will extend this blog soon!

This is a very decent idea. It may happen.

Sounds like more of a mod than an update idea, but that would be one cool-as-heck mod. Along with that, can you submit an understandable guide to installing Forge? I can't figure it out...

Well yeah, most minecraft features come from mods. The only problem would be that the game couldn't handle it :D
