The creeper smiles at me, its red eyes glowing. "Finally, ssssomeone that understandsssss me..." I smile at the dark form. "If you wouldn't mind," I say carefully, "Would I be able to light a torch? It's quite dark." I hear a hiss of disdain. "Sssso be it. But do you really dare to look upon my true form?" I pull a branch from my pack, and use my flint to light it. With my torch in hand, I raise it in front of me. The creeper stands before me, reptilian and horrible in its green scaly armor. It towers above me, but its eyes contain a spark of intelligence. "Horrible, isssn't it? I was once a man you know. One dreadful night, I was mining in the dark caves below New Panem City. And then, it happened..." The creeper continues to narrate the dreadful tale to the flickering flames of my torch.
