Why the same skins?

Why people post mobs in suit or creeper skins? Why people post Steve, teenager and "regular" girl skins? This is pretty anyoing. IS IT THAT MUCH SKINS THEY CAN HAVE POSTED! And then they post a Creeper? OR a Enderman-Creeper! Enderman-steve, steve-creeper, creeper-in-suit, pig-in-suit, pig-enderman, enderman-girl, regular-girl, regular-teenager, enderman-teenager, enderman-creeper. Why so many? The regular mods, in SUIT? Why not only have the original one. WHY? Why one red, one blue, one green of the same thing? Some make one purple creeper, steve or teen, one blue creeper, steve or teen, one red creeper,steve and teen and one colorfull creeper, steve or teen. Why people do this? WHY?

Well the reason I did one set of skins (blue, green and red) was because I got frustrated from finding really good skins, but wishing the were in red or blue etc.
But at least my 'base' skin was original and i made it from scratch. :D
