Hellow fellow minecraftians! Aidan here, and today, I will be teaching you all how to create a cool secret chest. There are no mods required, And all this requires is a few simple commands! All you need for this is a block that you want to be the chest, a command block, a redstone block, and a few of any block you want that surrounds the block! The command block command is 1.8... I will be including pictures for the steps, so you know what you are doing. Thanks so much for pop reel! I appreciatriate it!

Step 1: Grab the wanted block for the chest, a redstone block, and the surrounding block. For today,  I will be using a crafting table for the chest, and  Polished Andesite for the background. To get the command block, do /give @p minecraft:command_block for 1.8+, or /give {PlayerName} 137 in the command bar. The default key for this is the / key. Sorry about how the pics are big.

Step 2: Simply place the block for the chest, then around it, place the surrounding blocks exept for the 3 blocks that are in front of the the chest block.

 Step 3:Place a command block above the chest block.

Step 4: Go into the command block, and type this: /summon MinecartChest ~ ~-1 ~.05 {CustomName:{Name Of Chest Goes Here}, Then press done. I am doing SecretChest for the name. Look at command in text for this pic
Step 5: Place the redstone block next to the command block. This summons the chest. If done correctly, you should be able to right click the item chosen, and you will acess a chest.

Step 6: Break the command block, and replace with the chosen block for background.

Well that's all of the NEEDED steps! This is a fun step, and here it is: Instead of using any of the other blocks for the chest, use glass. This gives a cool effect:

Cool blocks to use: Any stained glass, any ore, stone, beacon, chest XD, glass pane, Flowers, Any enterable item As in furnaces, droppers, for this can be used for pranking! Just do this, and in the chest, grab dirt, and put in LOL! They won't know what happend XD
