Time passed by slowly
As I sat on a park bench
With childhood memories racing through my mind
Memories so clear but so distant
I was left wondering where all those times went
As I rose from the bench
And continued down the trail
Back to streets with people rushing by me
And as I passed by my old neighborhood
I couldno t help but to wander inside
My eyes wandered aimlessly at the houses
In this place I called home so long ago
And as I approached my old bus stop
My eyes became fixated on a certain house
One that belonged to two great friends
Two friends I accepted as my own brothers
And as I peered further down the street
Old faces were replaced by new ones
The houses appeared older and out of shape
And memories started to blur
The road I once called home for so long
Had appeared so different but the same
And I couldno t help but to wonder
o Will I ever see them all again?o
As I sat on a park bench
