One day my friend tampham30083 and I were playing on a server (which name I will not realease)
and we were playing my TNT spleef in creative. Tampham told said to me "hey swtm123, want to go to pixelcraft to play some spleef?" Unfortunately a moderator was on at the time and he said he would ban tampham for advertising. Now since tampham was my best friend I wanted to do something about it, I kept asking the moderator to make an exception, but he was not swayed. I protested and said: "why did you ban tampham, tons of other players do things far worse than that! In fact, they hack, abuse glitches, grief on survival, swear and advertise! You're only banning him for what 85% of the other people on your server do everyday!". Now then one of the owners came onto the creative server and banned ME for trying to get someone UNBANNED. The owner told me I had a poor systematic understanding and that I was a naiive twelve year old who was too young to see the big picture in a company.
So, thats my story. I typed up this blog to try and make change in unjust decisions like tampham's advertising incident. Now if you run or are a mod or admin o a server, I did not mean to offend or portray you as the bad guys, I just want something good to come out of this. So please, let's change the way servers are run, and make them right.
