For this tutorial i will be using the vanilla minecraft server not bukkit/tekkit
Follow these steps:
1. Download Minecraft_Server.jar From Minecraft.net/download
2. Make A New Folder And Put The Server Jar In
3. open terminal / command prompt navigate to the directory then type in java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar if you want it with no gui here is what you type in then java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui
4. Open Minecraft Then Login Then Click Multiplayer Then Click Direct Connect and type in localhost then click join server.
5. Goto the console and do: op [player]
6. Have Fun With Your New Server Please Diamond And Sub If You Like This Tutorial!
