Shaders mod help!:P

Hey guys, iv'e recently been trying really hard to get the GLSL shaders mod, with sonic eathers and everything, ive tried practically ever single tutorial out there, but i just cant find one that will work for me:/ any ideas and help? once i install everything, i get no difference, its not with all those errors, i just log on and get no difference what so ever, help will be HUGELY appreciated, thank you:)
