War T.V
(Theory story)
Seems like the T.V. channels were on, but who was watching? Oh of course little Jimmy, a sweet boy, and his mother on the other side of the house doing the cooking.
The commercials ended and the audio restarted “And now back to War Channel! Where we will be seeing a glimpse of the cold war progressing.”
The T.V. would show soldiers running across the fields of the trenches and shooting bullets in all directions. Multiple soldiers were starved and fallen, Some might say death itself came to take them by the hand.
“Jimmy! Turn off the television, dinner will be served in a minute” The boy paid no attention to his mother and kept watching through the violence. “Jimmy! I said-” The young boy Jimmy tuned out his mother's yells and kept watching.
Jimmy stared at the television for a moment and not for what you think. He was intrigued by one certain thing, A soldier. He was crawling on the ground holding his gun at hand, hoping to reach the sandbags for safety.
The man begins to reload his gun, preparing to shoot, as it would be the last bullet he would shoot. Out of nowhere, the soldier had an urge to face the sky. There he sees a face, Jimmy's face, looking down at him.
The soldier simply stared at the static in the sky which formed the face of a young boy “Are you God?” Jimmy stares.
The soldier tries to form words, and in a split second, the soldier wails out, praying to Jimmy. “Help me, God! Please save my nation!” The soldier would plead. The soldier would repeat the exact words repeatedly to a point where you could only see the movement of his mouth, No words.
The channels would switch, “Honeymooners! Movieland quiz! Look upon a star!” Until it stopped. The soldier was facing down on the ground. He picked himself up. He looked around in baffle “What is this?!” Houses on the street, carriages moving along the road, shopkeepers kicking out customers. The man was bewildered. Yet again, the soldier had the urge to face the sky. There he would only see a pair of blue eyes looking down upon him. Fading away into the skies. The soldier prayed to him and walked away reluctantly.
