As most of us already know, I'll try to keep this short and to the point: MINECRAFT 1.8 IS OOOOOOUUUUUUTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .....anyways......
And the main point of 1.8 in this blog is about skins. So, let's get to it...

Minecraft skin versions before 1.7.10 and down allowes us to add accessories only to the head. But in 1.8 we can add them to the REST of the skin too! Skins that have body accessories WILL be on you in lower versions. But not like you would think...  Any parts like the main body, arms & legs will turn black with any accessories on them. And the head, will stay the same. But at least it'll work in 1.8. XD      I would suggest for skin makers that if you want to make a new skin and maybe you have thought about adding body accessories to it for it to be a 1.8 skin, I don't think that would be a good idea until another version comes out after 1.8. Because people will like the skins you post and want to download them but when they do they find out that it turned black and will most likely not download any of your skins. People will be getting on servers 1.7.2 - 1.7.10 still... even when 1.8 comes out for bukkit and there are 1.8 servers the people will still have a server of a lower version they like to play on...
