Skinned?

Being able to have a skin recognizes your character so they say... i believe a skin is more than that for some reason when i see someones skin I believe it has something to do with something in your life for instance like some type of WOW character means u play it and you love/like it. By having a skin it can benefit in faction/servers/battles you will be recognized and people WILL know you(e.g; football jerseys if you wear an incorrect jersey well your stupid and you will prob lose[unless you suck]). What do you think people choose certain skins and what is your skin atm?
