Tip #1:
Well first thing is you do NOT want to use skincraft! It will not make you good skins at all. If I were you I would use MCSkinedit or Minershoes. They will both make you decent skins.
Tip #2:
Shading is very important. If you don't add it your skin won't look that good...Many people use weird shading tools but the BEST is the dodge/burn tool with GIMP. If you do not have gimp, get it!
Tip #3:
Don't copy a skin...It's not gonna help you at all, its just gonna get your skin deleted and you'll lose XP. This tip was pretty simple. XD
Tip #4:
Don't worry about how many views/downloads you get at the beginning. Trust me we all start bad, but if you keep producing decent work you'll maybe get a sub, then two, and so on. I was lucky enough to get 40 views on my first skin and that got me a sub. :)
Tip #5:
Be patient with making a skin. Quality skins take more than 5 minutes.
Tip #6:
Participate in the contests! If you do good enough people will look at you for sure! Even if you don't do good try again on the next contest! Soon you'll get far enough in too get noticed!
That's it! I'll make more if you ask for it. Please be generous and click the diamond button if I helped you! Goodbye. :D
