Hello PMC! Welcome to my first blog!

Basically what this blog is about is the new snapshots and what I think about them.

So, as most of you know, the new snapshot came out recently, and I got really excited. I really wanted to see what Mojang was planning on adding into minecraft. But, being unfamiliar with how the new launcher worked, didn't know how to do so until yesterday.

The first thing I noticed when I loaded up my test world was that there were waytoo many flowers in one area. In my opinion, Mojang really needs to tune down the grass to flower ratio.

So after that, I went into fly mode and started looking for those new biomes that were being discussed. The first one I came across was a forest looking biome. It seemed like just another forest for a while until I noticed something off in the distance. It was the red and white block of a giant mushroom. I flew over there, expecting to see a mushroom biome, but just getting more of the new trees and giant mushrooms. I realized that this was a part of the new biome. I personally like this biome. There's just something about dense forests that I like.

The next thing I came across was a a pretty cool feature. It seems to me that, after a certain height, blocks get covered in snow. I just thought that was a good feature.

I flew past that, and came across a large hill made of only stone covered in snow. It occurred to me that that was a mountain, and I moved on.

Finally, I came across a plains biome, but I looked into the distance and I saw an odd looking tree. I flew closer, and recognized it as an Acacia tree. I thought it was a cool new tree.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any sunflowers, but one cool thing I noticed is the tall grass. In plains, it adds a nice safari feel when paired with the Acacia trees. I also noticed that there are a lot more rivers, though I'm not sure if that was just the seed or a new feature. It was worth noting though!

Some other things I didn't see were the clay biomes, redwood biomes, or the brought back crazy world generation, but looking forward to seeing them!
