Okay, what I would do is a bit complicated, but it would totally pay off in the end. I know it works because....I'm living this way right now.
1)Find at least 2 friends, poor-off relatives, or 1 small family in a similar situation.
2)Move into a temporary rental house. All teens get jobs, all working people contribute to bills.
3)Once finances are looking better, you all move into a 2 story rental home.
4)Don't even think about going your separate ways until the economy is better.
