We all know him. He is the foundation of us. We mold him into elaborate appearances, but he isn't just a default skin. Now, sit down children and let me tell you the tale of a man that is more than default. Steve.

        On a cliff stood of man. A homely man of great history. His beard was large and his courage even larger. He had faced the terrors of the night, a task that only the brave or the foolish ever attempt. He had fought off scores of creepers and endermen, but now he fought his greatest foe. Loneliness. He sat alone with only the sun, growing trees, and annoying villagers. All of his kind were gone. Like the grains of sand that sat beneath the soles of his shoes, they went on. He was the last man, and it was his fault.
        Not even a month ago, he had caused the end of humanity. As punishment, he was forced into a never-ending cycle of death and life. When he dies, he cannot continue into the paradise of eternal death, but he is sent to live again, only to repeat this. 
       Over the last thirty days, his unremembered past became clear. Every deed, both good and bad, haunted him.
