Ever wondered how to make a supply crate in vanilla minecraft? Well now you can!

Things needed:
/give command access. Give cmd is limited to that of vanilla. Not essentials.
/give @p piston 1 7

A minecart

A rail

Piston. If you DO NOT have give cmd you can use it instead.

A power source.

The easiest way, of course. is to watch the video. I, being a person who does not, will write it down.

1) Put 2 blocks □_□ like this and a rail in between

2) Rename your minecart to "Supply Crate"

3)Put it there on the rails and then go to the block in front, dig down, and then you'll see the rail, which is going to be dug out from underneath, so now there would be no rails □(minecart)□ . Then, put a blocks all around the minecart, so there would be a cross shape. Then from the side extend the □(minecart)□ base to be 3 blocks high. █(minecart)█. Like that.

4) From then on just put a piston or the crate texture piston you've created in between the 2 blocks. Put another piston facing down on top and power it with a torch or lever or something. It should then push the piston down to the minecart. The dig out the front and back blocks you've placed before. If you see a black colored minecart popping out you either repeat everything again OR wait for it to settle.

Now, you're done! If THIS wasn't detailed enough just watch the video.

Hope this helped,

John

This is cool. I can see the applications for an apocalypse map or something.
